# Tell us which tools you use

> Ask "do you work with ServiceTitan?" by text, or pick your tools during setup or on the dashboard. You get an honest answer, and we build the most-requested connections first.

We add new connections in the order customers ask for them. Telling us which tools you use is how a tool moves up the list. It takes a few seconds, and you can do it three ways.

## Ask by text

Text a plain question about one tool (or up to three):

> Do you work with ServiceTitan?

> Can you connect to Housecall Pro and Buildertrend?

> ¿Funciona con QuickBooks?

You get a straight answer for each tool:

| Ready to connect, and you're the owner or an admin | "Yes, I work with QuickBooks Online. Connect it here…" with a link |
| Ready to connect, and you're a member | "Yes…" with a link to the dashboard, where your owner or an admin can connect it |
| Already connected | "Yes, and it's already connected. Just tell me what you need." |
| On our list, but not ready | "Not yet. I've noted that you use it so we can prioritize it." |
| Known, but not planned yet | "I don't work with it yet. I've noted that you use it so we can prioritize it." |
| Not one we know | "I don't work with it yet. I've noted that you use it so we can look into it." |

It understands common nicknames and misspellings ("house call pro", "QBO", "service titian").

The question has to be the whole message. "Do you work with Jobber? Also book Kim Tuesday" goes to the assistant as a normal request instead.

## During setup

The profile form you fill in after signing in asks **Which tools do you use?** Tap any that apply, or type others in **Other tools** (for example "Workiz, Fieldwire"). It's optional.

## On the dashboard

Open **Connections** in the [account dashboard](https://asktack.com/docs/account-dashboard/). Under **Other tools you use**, tap **Add tools**, pick from the list (grouped by category under **More tools**) or type in others, and tap **Add tools** again.

The list shows every tool your team has told us about, with its status: **Ready to connect**, **Beta**, **Coming soon** or **Noted**.

Adding a tool to this list doesn't connect it or give anyone access. To connect a tool that's ready, use **Connect** at the top of the page.

## What we do with it

- We record **which tool** your company named, **who** named it, **where** (text, setup, dashboard or a setup call) and when. For a typed or texted answer, we also keep the words you used.
- The same company naming the same tool again within 30 days counts once.
- We use it to decide which connections to build next.
